Meet the Artist: Amanda Forgash

Amanda Forgash is the Midwest-based botanical artist behind petalpushr. She has 12 years of experience in floral design, with an extensive background in Weddings and Events. She also teaches floral design workshops and, in 2020, she debuted her collection of dried botanical art, including clay lady sculptures, floral domes, framed moss pieces, and hanging installations.

In Spring 2025, Amanda relocated to Indianapolis from Chicago.

NATURE AS FINE ART

Pushing her artistry beyond the confines of typical floristry, Amanda exhibits her experimental work, including her dried creations, in art shows, floral fashion competitions, and galleries across Chicago and Indianapolis.

With an emphasis on color, texture, shape, structure, and advanced mechanics, petalpushr has originated a personal aesthetic that's bold, whimsical, artful, imaginative, and unserious. Natural materials feel otherworldly, transporting the viewer to alien landscapes.
