ABOUT

Amanda Forgash (aka petalpushr) designs dried and preserved botanical art, including hanging moss frames, floral domes, and retro-inspired vased arrangements. Additionally, she services weddings and events and has built a loyal following through her floral design workshops, teaching beginners and intermediate students alike how to craft their own botanical masterpiece.

With an emphasis on color, texture and unique details, petalpushr has created a recognizable aesthetic that is fun, playful and hip.

HISTORY

Amanda is Chicago-based, with 11+ years of experience in the floral industry, mostly in wedding and events. When the pandemic hit in 2020, she shifted her focus to dried and preserved floral, founding a company named after her moniker, petalpushr, initially working from her home and selling via her web shop, and soon thereafter moving to a brick-and-mortar studio.

Amanda has competed in art shows, floral fashion competitions, dressed storefront windows, and displayed her work at galleries across Chicago. Her dried floral art is available online an at a handful of local retailers.
